When my wife, Carol, and I moved here two years ago, one of the first things we wanted to do was brighten-up our landscaping. After checking around, we decided to engage the landscaping team of Sharon and Courtney Lockwood and Lockwood Landscape Designs. We  came from the Midwest so we were not familiar with what plants would do well here.

I am happy to say the mother/daughter team of Lockwood Landscape Designs did a wonderful job of filling our wishes. Our landscaping looks great — the Lockwoods are a pleasure to work with, and they follow up with periodic checks of how things are going.

Sharon Lockwood has designed eight landscapes in various parts of our one acre property beginning in 1991. She is extremely knowledgeable about plants that will work best in our Colorado climate and will attract desirable wildlife. Sharon keeps current on the new varieties of plants as well. Sharon also includes the client when creating her design. I’m happy in knowing that I can always contact her with questions I may have. Sharon is really a people person. She even gets involved in placing the actual plants in the yard. Our yard is truly a work of art and a welcome place to come home to after a hectic day and it’s all because of Sharon’s expertise and involvement.

I have consulted with Sharon many times over nearly 30 years and have always been very satisfied with her suggestions and expert advice on current plant material and solutions for struggling areas.  I thoroughly enjoy working with her and love the results.  She is great at helping me achieve the look and feel I enjoy in my garden.

Sharon has a keen understanding of our landscape needs. After careful listening to our desires, Sharon designed a beautiful landscape that met our every need. From the very beginning of the process of formulating a landscape design to the oversight of the installation, Sharon was there to ensue the plan was executed with the highest quality. Sharon is reliable and knowledgeable and responds quickly to all questions and concerns that we had. She is an extremely talented and passionate designer who is very easy and pleasant to work with.
